最近，一只“穿荷叶边短裙的虾”走红网络。画里的这只虾特别潮，穿着层叠的荷叶短裙，甚至还有“打底裤”。

A shrimp-like figure wearing a layered ruffled skirt has sparked widespread discussion online, drawing renewed attention to a centuries-old Chinese painting.

据传，它是明代大画家仇英的著作《揭钵图》中的经典形象。网友纷纷震惊“这也太抽象了吧！”“500年前的画怎么能这么潮？”，有的网友还玩起了梗，脑洞大开，比如：

据悉，这幅画原作现藏于美国弗利尔美术馆（Freer Gallery of Art），原名叫《揭钵图：鬼子母的皈依》（Raising the Alms-Bowl: The Conversion of Hariti the Mother of Demons）。

不过要注意一点：馆方目前将其定为清代作品（馆方原载：1644-1911），标注“旧传仇英”，并非确定的仇英真迹。

The character appears in Raising the Alms-Bowl: The Conversion of Hariti the Mother of Demons, a work now housed at the Freer Gallery of Art in the United States. Although the painting is often attributed online to Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) painter Qiu Ying, the museum currently identifies it as a Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) work and notes that the attribution remains unconfirmed.

画里的鬼子母原本性情残暴，专吃小孩。为了劝她向善，她最疼爱的小儿子被扣在金钵底下。于是，救子心切的鬼子母体会到了失去孩子的苦痛后，发誓不再杀人，后来，她成了保护儿童的神。

画中出现的各色妖怪都是来帮鬼子母“揭钵”的——虾精就是其中的一个小兵。这只拟人化的虾兵，被作者画得极其出圈——上半身是虾，下半身是穿搭博主。

The painting depicts the story of Hariti, a demoness who later repented and became a protector of children. The shrimp figure is one of several fantastical creatures portrayed as helping her recover her son.

此外，还有蛙精、蟹怪、蛇妖等，它们都被画得荒诞又可爱，难怪网友打趣说这堪称“现代漫画的鼻祖”了。比如，穿荷叶裙的鱼精——

穿着裤衩、互相聊天的树妖、竹子精——

这几只妖精神似“雷震子”，射箭的样子又让人联想到“丘比特”，可以说是十分近似《山海经》中“羽人”的形象（雷震子的原型也是它）——

飘逸、互相缠绕的蛇妖——

举着大旗的鸟怪——

还有其他形象特异的鬼怪——

种种形象，让人忍俊不禁、印象深刻，也让人感叹：几百年前的画作，也可以这么“潮”啊！

Frog spirits, crab monsters, snake demons and other imaginative beings also appear throughout the scroll. Their vivid, whimsical designs have amused many viewers, with some expressing surprise at how playful and striking artwork created centuries ago can still seem today.
